Currently we are looking for:
A DISHWASHER for at least 1 evening per week.
Fortunately, you wash the plates, cups, cutlery and kitchen utensils such as pans and containers with the help of a dishwasher. Sometimes you wash 400 plates in one night. That gives some a kick!
When everything is ready, clean the kitchen sink and the floors. In addition, you may assist the kitchen at busy times with replenishing the stock and preparing desserts.
What are the working hours?
The daily evening service starts at 5 or 6 p.m., depending on how busy it is, you are usually done around midnight.
During the weekend there is also a day shift, then you work from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
16 and 17 year olds work until 11 pm at the latest.
Do I need to speak Dutch?
No.
Which days can I work?
LEF is open 7 days a week. You can indicate each month when you are available. We ask you to be available at least 1 day a week. The work schedule is always known at least 2 weeks in advance.
Can I go on holiday?
Yes, but we hope for extra availability during summer holiday.
Until what month can I work?
You can work as long as you want at LEF.
Do I need to have experience as a dishwasher?
No, many dishwashers work for the first time or had another side job before. We give you extensive training and after that you are completely ready to get started!
Are there growth opportunities?
LEF is a busy and popular café, which means that there are a lot of career opportunities for you too. As a dishwasher, you can grow into a position as a cook, service employee, barkeeper or even shift leader.
A CLEANER for at least 3 services (of approximately 2 hours) per week. As a cleaner you work in the morning hours; it does not matter what time you start, as long as the restaurant is clean at 11 o'clock. As a cleaner, you are responsible for the cleanliness of the restaurant. You provide clean floors, windows, mirrors, decoration and fresh toilets. In addition, you wash the windows once every two weeks.
In the summer months this function can be extended with extra work (opening the terrace)
